A public subsidy of up to 20,500 euros is available to certain establishments open to the public to help them make their premises accessible to people with reduced mobility.
This is a welcome boost to our efforts to help the disabled in these difficult economic times.
Eligible expenses are as follows:
- Accessibility equipment
- Accessibility work
- Engineering and project management expenses incurred to make a facility accessible.
The grant amounts to 50% of eligible expenditure, excluding VAT, up to a maximum of €20,500 per facility.
It is valid for the period from November 2, 2023 to December 31, 2028.
To be eligible, the company must be a VSE/SME and meet the following conditions:
- Less than 250 employees.
- Annual sales not exceeding €50 million excluding VAT, or balance sheet total not exceeding €43 million.
- Belonging to the 5th category of establishments receiving the public, and classified as type M (sales outlets, shopping centers), type N (restaurants and drinking establishments), type O (hotels and boarding houses) or type W (administration, banks, offices). Other types may also be affected by decision of the Prefect.
- Created before 09/2023
- Be registered with the RNE
- Be up to date with your tax and social security obligations
- Not be in receivership
